Bolliger & Mabillard is proud to announce our latest collaboration with Six Flags Over Texas: Tormenta Rampaging Run, a groundbreaking attraction set to debut in 2026. With six world records and a bold thematic vision, this coaster represents a major milestone for both the park and our engineering team.
Located in the newly developed Rancho de la Tormenta area, Tormenta Rampaging Run brings the energy and intensity of the Running of the Bulls to life through dynamic storytelling, immersive theming, and unprecedented coaster performance.
A New Benchmark in Dive Coaster Innovation
Tormenta Rampaging Run will redefine what a dive coaster can achieve, standing as the tallest, fastest, longest, and first-ever giga dive coaster in the world. Among its six record-breaking achievements:
- Tallest Dive Coaster: 309 ft
- Highest Beyond-Vertical Drop: 285 ft at 95°
- Fastest Dive Coaster: 87 mph
- Highest Immelmann Inversion: 218 ft
- Tallest Vertical Loop: 179 ft
- Longest Dive Coaster: 4,199 ft
This combination of speed, height, and layout elements marks a dramatic evolution in dive coaster design.
A Thrill That Sends Riders Beyond Vertical
The experience begins with a towering ascent to the 309-foot peak, offering sweeping views before the tension builds. In true dive coaster fashion, the moment of anticipation is key, followed by a sudden release into a beyond-vertical, 95-degree plunge that takes riders past the point of straight down.
